What sets Chipman Hill Suites apart from its more traditional competitors is the unique historic appeal of its various buildings and suites. Although we have a limited number of suite “types”, no two suites are exactly the same. Each unit has been lovingly furnished and decorated to ensure every guest feels comfortable and at home. Units at the more budget-minded end of our spectrum include a single or double bed, a fully equipped kitchenette and a 3-piece bathroom (sink, toilet, and shower), and would be similar in size to a dorm room. (In fact, many students attending UNBSJ have chosen to make Chipman Hill Suites their home during the school year!) As you move away from these budget units, you can pick up a larger bed size, a full bathroom, a full kitchen, and even multiple bedrooms. One of our most popular categories is our executive level unit with queen or king bed, full kitchen and full bathroom with airpool or jetted tub. Some suites have a separate bedroom, but most are an open concept “bachelor” style. No matter the type or size of the unit, no matter the price, each unit is equipped with everything you need to prepare food and dine in the privacy of your own space. Some buildings, or even suites within buildings, tend to be rented to long-term guests and are unavailable for nightly stays in between monthly bookings.
